Our Spring Break ’22 game plan: soak up the warm South Florida sun and salty air all day, and enjoy some leisurely dinners (I LOVE to dine out when I’m traveling). Lots of books. Not a lot of device usage. Maybe a little sight-seeing and shopping sprinkled in here and there – these girls can S-H-O-P – I don’t know where they get it…😜. I might even try to squeeze in a visit to the spa.
Tomorrow we (just the “big girls”, we’re leaving the sensory-seeking 2 1/2 year old behind with dad) are headed to the Westin Ft. Lauderdale Beach Resort and we are all very much looking forward to a change of scenery. I used to go to Ft. Lauderdale as a child all the time to visit my Grandma and my GG and I have many fond memories of the area, which I am looking forward to introducing Avery & Harper to.
I’ve been enjoying preparing and packing for this trip, and I’m excited to share all of my recent finds: swimsuits, cover-ups, caftans, dresses, sandals, denim jean shorts, on-trend tops, and some casual resort wear. Also making the trip: a fully loaded Kindle, a couple of audiobooks for the drive, a flat of Waterloo for the mini-fridge, and OF COURSE I’ll have my Countertime Travel Set and literally ALL the Beautycounter SPF and Beyond Gloss (I’m on a BIG Brûlée kick right now) on hand.
