This is my love language, right here. I am sharing some pictures of the baby’s room because I recently came to a realization: creating beautiful spaces, preparing meals, being organized, etc. – it is my love language!
In the past I have received thinly-veiled criticism for being a “perfectionist” and at times I have found myself feeling defensive of and playing down this aspect of my personality. But this is me, and I am 100% okay with it.
If I am channeling my “perfectionist” energy into a place of positive intention – which is to create a serene, peaceful home where my family feels safe and loved – that is something I feel really good about. So, baby girl, although you’ll be bunking up with me for a while, your room at home is ready and waiting for you, and we are so excited to meet you tomorrow.
