I think that life should be as simple and beautiful as possible.  And nowhere do I express that more clearly than in my kitchen!  I love to set a beautiful table and prepare a great meal to share with my people – this is my love language!  And I am fully committed to the idea that these things do not have to be complicated.

Have you heard that saying “this meeting should have been an email”?  Well that is how I feel about a looot of recipes out there these days.  I don’t know about you but I don’t want to spend my time running all over town to procure exclusive ingredients, and I certainly don’t want to be on my feet all night slaving away over a recipe.  I mean, why does everything have to be so next level all the time?!

I am here to tell you – it doesn’t.

It is just not necessary.  Now don’t get me wrong – I full-on support cooking from scratch, and I think that quality ingredients matter.  A lot.  I am just really on this less is more wave.  And I hope you’ll ride it with me!
